The April Fool's joke you missed

I love April 1 on the web, April Fool's Day brings out the best in a geek. I invariably find myself forwarding the contents of one newsletter or website, when an even better spoof pops into my inbox, perhaps it will even be great.

The thought did cross my mind that I could blog them all, but then a better thought crossed my mind--I could wait for someone to blog them all. Now, at the end of April, I have a few good omnibus links to waste hours of time upon.

For instance, the worthwhile ResearchBuzz newsletter did an April Fool's Day Roundup article.

And I must honor the Search Engine Watch article on AFD for providing the link to the Google April Fool's Day Search Engine. (Which was announced at other sites, I know, but for me SEW was the first.)

And much was made of the Britannica take over of Wikipedia, but one thing that I didn't see mentioned was that on Wikipedia's Main Page for April first, there was a link to the European Toilet Paper Holder. Coincidence? I think not.

(Happy now, Pam?)

An interesting link that doesn't deal with astronomy or mathematics or crochet.
